can just about get some squats in at my gym, no squat rack or even a barbell but there is a fairly decent cable machine that has quite a bit of movement in it or just do dumbbell squats.

thinking of moving gyms soon as weight selection isn't bad at mine but could be better.

depends what type of gym you go to, if its a corporate big one such chains as Cannons, Esporta, David Lloyd etc then you probablly won't see many people squatting.

go to a good boxing gym/ proper weightlifting hardcore gym and you will

no shock really though, I've never seen anyone squating at the gym i go to.
Get some leg work done Steve its pretty much essential and will do you alot more good that fucking about with some daft barbell curls or what have you.
I find it alot more safisfying as well when you see progression in exercises such as squats, deadlifts, pull-ps, dips. Allthough its pretty shit when you don't go for ages then go back and can't do half what you could do, and end up fucked after 4 pull-ups.

It's true, i'm crap at the mo as since the cae blew up I haven't been able to get to the gym. Just started back this week & Monday my arms were pretty weak

I'm not as weak as I have been in the past where i've missed a month or so before & my weight has stayed around the same as well.
Cycling to and from work at the mo too

i find it disheartening when you say go for 2 months straight, upping your weights every week and then you have to go away for 2 weeks on holiday and then when your back you've dropped down the maximum weights you can lift but thats where you love muscle memory!

cycling from work, at least thats keeping you doing cardio

Steve you still leaving about the GX area? I can introduce you to my mate Ryan, who is set to win the under 21 European body Building championship in two months. After that he is going into the pro class, but currently is in the natural class.

as people have said on here mate, your body will not absorb more then around 30 - 40g of protien per serving, so using all of what you was doing is a waste, tbh,.
if you really want to put some size on then you should be eating every 3 hours, and ever serving should involve carbs and protien, i split mine up, having 3 big meals a day and 3 "intakes" eg a a protien shake, or a chicken breast and brown rice etc. not a main meal but a good intake of carbs and protien. but try and hit the every 3 houyr rule and you wont go wrong my friens
