Just booked a room at Premier Travel Inn, Huddersfield North. Hoping for a discount because i work for the same company Oh its for me and my girlfriend (Nat) its 2 years that day we mett so it will be special. I just dont have alot of money so i only have the room booked at the moment, also petrol to get there etc so im going to ask my Mum to lend me some money to buy her a little gift. The room is £51 and will also be having a meel in the restraunt next door so about £30 for that with drinks etc, petrol there and back is roughly £25 with plenty to last till payday (Friday)

So your thoughts and opinions are welcome on what i should get her, I was thinking a necklace as she asked me for one not long back but the price was £60 and then she told me that it was £100 then she decided to add another £60 on top of that (£160). I told her i cant afford such a thing like that, well i sopose i could of but i leave things till the last moment (D'oh)

Anyways she has no idea about the hotel but we have driven past it at night time and it was the prettiest looking hotel i had seen with all the purple lights outside and she agreed. I think she has an idea i have booked a room but obviously has no idea where.

Agree, I tell my girlfriend that I love her every day so whats so great about 14th Feb To me its just a day for people that arnt romantic the rest of the year to get prompt to do something & a day for the shops to cash in!! In saying that i'll probably get bullied into giving a card & making dinner.

imo a good valentines day is waking up at dinner time, having sex all day till your sore. ordering a take away whist eating it in bed whist watching a film, then carry on having sex till you cant anymore. then fall asleep

I agree with Colin, I already know he loves me and he knows I love him, so no need to go mad on Feb 14th. A card with a nice personal message means more to me than an expensive prezzie

Oh and Colin I might just surprise you, and cook you dinner for a change rather than the other way about!!
