Based on how fast said belt is going, they could cancel each other out and the plane would lift off

what the hell  a tailwind will do fuck all for an aircraft taking off. a headwind will produce far better lift.

no i mean actual speed the plane is moving as it needs a certain speed to get the lift
ie if a plane needs to travel at 100mph to lift off but they conveyour belt is moving 50mph in the opposite diredction the plane would need to travel at 150mph to get the lift

I only read to page 2... but I actually wrang Rolls Royce and they said hundreds of people ring up about this every day, they didn't have enough time to explain the dynamics of this but IT WOULD TAKE OFF!
