What a great race yet again this weekend....

On a worse note, someone pulled out on my old man yesterday on his Benelli (of all bloody bikes) and broke his leg.

Unsure how bad the bike is and wll be off the road till next year now im sure (parts will take forever to come).

Still waiting to talk to the old man as he's still in hospital.

ah daimo thats terrible!!
mate got hit on his bike a month or so ago, car pulled out he hit it with so much so that it flipped the car onto its side, threw my amte about 30ft along yet didnt break a bone in his body just a few bruises, was a miracle.
bikes buggered (r6) and its completely put him off riding now.

ouch, GWS to your dad mate - if he's selling the benelli tell him ill give him a pack of hobnobs for it!
crashing a bike is never a good thing - a mate of mines dropped his R6 in his garage - the foot peg went clean through his calf muscle... he now has a rather large hole in his leg which he likes to show off... git lol.

G@Z, is your dad a member on the cbr-forum?

Why is it after a motorbike crash everyone always seems to worry about the bike? Happened to me and anyone I've known crash! First questions always hows the bike?

Hope the old mans ok shame it was the Benelli though

Also agreed! Being a commited Hayden fan I was absolutely gutted on the fourth lap, said to the Mrs she may aswell drop me off at my place as didnt feel like watching it, with those two yamy's going off in front but glad I watched it all!!

On about the 18th 19th lap when Elias started catching Edwards got really excited again, (as I have a LOVE for Hondas and cant stand Edwards, he was absolutely amasing in superbikes but think Haydens a better rider in GP - just my opinion) , watching Elias pass Edwards and start to gap him to Rossi was incredible amount of corners he would storm past someone and you think he aint going to stop for that corner but stop and make the corner was incredible! Watching him slide the back across the whole width of the end of the straight just trying to stop the bike as late as possible and using the painted borders to help slide the back end into the corner

Just gutted Kenny couldnt get the second!!

Doh....

0ver 20 breaks in his leg, plus a lot more. High on drugs and stuck in Eastbourne.. Benelli is a WO, as is the car that hit him. 100% cars fault, police have witnesses and everything.

All because yet another car driver was impatient to follow the road rules...

Funny thing is, speed kills remember.... All 20mph of it....... Such a load of BS...

We will take him to the cleaners. Theres a lot more to it. He's already talkigna bout getting the newer 1130cc model though

PS, he's been riding over 35 years, so you boys remember this when you've just passed your test and bomb along like your Rossi on your new sports bike....

Yup always other people on the road which cause the accidents - and impatient drivers, which is how my uncle got killed, someone did a u turn in a traffic jam without looking, flew out my uncle hit him at 40mph killed him, caught by 7 cameras on the bus behind showing it was the car drivers fault

Thats the reason my bro doesn't have a road bike even though he lives for bikes and raced for years, says the roads are just too dangerous. Not that he's not smashed up from racing anyway.

Nah my mates got the 'r' with steering damper he reckons with a slightly narrower tyre on it turns in nearly as good as his slightly older gsxr 600 but he's bound to say that. Bags and bags of torque any gear and it tries to lift up at the front.

On the subject of the gp 800's that new suzuki is awesome they look really small , something to do with the rear hugger i think

thats the reason i always raced, but since i've got a 25 year dept to pay (mortgage lol) i couldn't resisit not riding a bike, so i've ended up getting a road bike.

Haydens already beaten! watch this interview with him. he almost says its over for him and he's nearly in tears. rossi has got to his head, just as he did with gibernau
