Sam, your slowly sounding like a spoilt little shit - your dad may own a tinting business, but as you seem to know sweet F A about it i would listen to some of these people who have a) either been done by the police for there front tints and/or b) spoke to police/VOSA about it.....
Eitherway, sam's emailed them, would be good to hear the reply - maybe get the reply "sticky" for furture reference??

i tell you what, you go and tell your dad to 'professionally' fit window tints to your car. you get pulled, recieve a £30 fine and get told to take off your tints within 10 days and then by trying to get out of it, tell the police officer that your dad has a buisness in doing it so he must know what he is doing. the police will go down and close your dad's buisness down and sue him. and then you can feel free to post in this thread and say how stupid you feel and you should have listened to us

the local tinting place wont tint the front higher that light now incase they get in shoot for it.
They are bound to bring in something that can hold the companys liable eventually for knowingly going over the limit at the front on a road car.

iv had all my cars tinted n i havn't been stopped yet iv been stopped for other things n they have never said anything about it at all! At the end of the day i cunt care less so stop chucking ur dummy out of ur pram n get over it!

aye, i think they will too - probably a certificate to state that all windows are within legal limits.
But lee, i doubt they will go around her old mans place and shut him down Worse case, he might get a phone call, unless theres written proof that he stated that the car was legally sound - in which case it may go further.....
