theres often jobs in the paper saying "black/asian trainee manger" "to boost the number of managers from an ethnic minority, if i advertised a job "only whites need apply" i'd be linched. same as bah bah black sheep being racist now, and i still stand by the age old argument that there can be films called white men cant jump, but not black men cant read, or asian men own sweatshops...

Yes as a christian if I attended Alton Towers on that day I could not do the basic things I have become accustomed to such as listen to music or buy a pizza or something...

point taken, do alton towers or any theme park provide a clean, cordoned off area for prayer? and for any beliefs? (not rhetoric, i dunno tbh).
i am sure any with self control can stay away from the 10p machines and other gambling machines. and also to not buy alcohol.
But for those more serious, it is a problem for them to be around gambling and alcohol. they feel strongly about that, so wat are they to do?

I think the point is here ANYBODY can hire the park....end of and have instructions of their own. ie no music etc...
If you do not mind the no music/alchohol etc go along...
But I do agree say If i hired the park for say a 'white only day' and no coloureds would be allowed in there would be an uproar, same goes like a christian only day.....
It's a tough subject and one that everyone is not going to agree on EVER.

providing it isn't "typically British" it gets the go ahead in Britain. studying where lottery money goes shows that, they won't fun a WWII trip to France/rememberance oocation but will throw money at situations like the above!

Right, this is slightly off topic but the idea popped into my head & I want to know the answer
Do non christians (muslims etc) have a differant dating system?
IE today is the 02/07/2006
But isnt the 2006 bit meant to mean 2006 years since christ?
And they don't believe in christ?
So is this us forcing our date system onto them or do they normally use that as well? If so - Why?

The Gregorian Calendar is accepted as the formal date system used worldwide so is adopted by most. Muslims do have another calendar, with the similar notion to 2006 "AD", its after the Prophet Muhammad.
Islamic Calendar
and yes, Jesus is a prophet of the religion as is Adam, Eshmael, Ebrahim and Moses etc.
Prophets - read the box half way down
have a read, education is the way forward.
