Mind you I call my brother a chav cos he wears Rockport boots sometimes (even though he isn't a chav at all )

people wear it because it fits into the soccer hooligan image (mav is a member of the famous ASC)

saxo's have their image that i have to put up with but i dont come on here crying when someone slates them

your brother has no fashion sense

you think because somebody wears a lacoste polo they are a 'chav' which is not true, but yeah suppose some do wear fakes and even a few real ones but the garment it self is not chav...

[Edited on 15-06-2006 by mav]

the garment has an image its up to the person wearing it to change the image

well thats me then

The garment never had the image at all, and if it has it's the last few years since the introduction of the word 'chav'

As for soccer hooliganism, yeah it has an image of S.I, CP company etc etc but not everybody thats wears it is into it.

SI is a huge holigan brand, you only have to goto a Burnley game to spot the trouble makers. I bought an SI jacket few years back in innocence and kept being searched at grounds Waste of £450 too, quality was shit.
