Order placed
I don't expect to be able to pick it up & play straight away, but I just hope I get the hang of it enough to want to carry on

with the basic chords, you can teach yourself 'A' 'E' 'C' and 'G' and then play ANY oasis song

I considered buying Adam a guitar for xmas so that he might want to learn.
I think its great.....and can be a really attractive quality in a guy.
I learned a bit at school....and had a guitar or two at home ...but never really kept it on.
Go for it....nothing to lose

Robbo shame on you!!!
You could give me your geetars if you ain't going to play them then i would have 5
My tips are learn on an acoustic guitar, it will give you a proper feel as learnign on an electric will not stengthen your fingers.
Learn scales as soon as you have nailed the simple chords e.g A C D E F G.
Then buy an electric.
I've been playing 3 1/2 years. Had lessons and studied theory so i can play abit. As far as it being an attractive quality ina guy my girlfriend hates it when i pick my guitar up

I bought one
Forgot how good I was
Went into my local guitar shop, played a few (Epiphone AJ100, Yamaha something, and another which I can't remember) plus this -

which sounded the best, and was nicest to play, so I bought it

You could buy a guitar with a couple of hours pay.
Or a really good one for a few hours.

Guitar day

I've just looked at my order summary & realised I forgot to buy a tuner Doh!
Might just get one of those from my local music shop though. Am I right in thinking about £10-15? Any reccomendations?

I bought one today, £15, came with a battery too.
A tuner is a tuner TBH, as long as it can do electric AND acoustic, you're laughin.
