just need to know how to take vibs, didnt warm to him at first but this is going back nearly 5 years. However i do think he's a decent chap and his dry sense of humour does amuse me, although i can see how it woudl cause offence, particuraly to newbies.

Hope this isnt a permanent ban, i would miss his contributions to the site

Warns are fine until they get continually ignored. I can only repeatedly ask the same thing until its clear that its not working. Dogs would associate being tapped on the nose with what they've done and not want tapping on the nose again, so not do it again. A lot of people who I'm softly softly with don't appear to mind being told, and continue to do it. People are more complicated than dogs.

If your laid back and quite placid, you'll find him funny, if your a bit uptight and take things personally, you'll always think he's a little hitler, generally I think the guy hates me, but I don't care, I wanna sausage the bastard from all angles, with vids and JPEGs.

Indeed, and the same could be said about other users who are clearly interested in cars but who don't know the meaning of the word 'inappropriate'.

I think its a shame as well, and I do think the site loses something. I really don't have an option though. Asking for change doesn't work. Asking someone to only make useful contributions doesn't work, its always accompanied by the crap. Never mind the empty promises that come with every request to have the bans lifted, its all empty. I've said this in the past and it continues to be the case.

Same old people are guilty of it, yes.

No I want to know why he thinks this. Being called a prick doesn't really bother me too much. Being called a prick and agreeing with why would offend the crap out of me.

If you're talking about discussing the ban, there was a thread already which I've trashed as it was fully of speculation and bickering, so clearly a few people want to know whats what. u2u wouldn't work for that.

Also would it be OK for me to be a prick via u2u so long as you don't read it? That would still make me a prick? I want to know what the alternatives are to be me being a prick? Do nothing? Let 1% of the member list decide on the direction for threads posted by the other 99%? Whats the choice?

Show me the way I can run the site without occasionally being a prick?
