Yeah, Im not saying everyone will and does. Im saying that no one knows how they will end up as they rarely see it happening until its too late. can't believe the sort of person somebody is thought to be can be worked out from what substances they take.
people have no "need" for alcohol, buts its accepted, you get alcoholic fcuk ups, (probably more of them than anything else)
to say he takes coke, or weed etc and that makes someone a "druggie", "coke-head" etc is like calling your mum an alcoholic because she has a glass of wine with dinner at weekends.
you are who you are and i think drugs (including alcohol) just mess up an already weak person.
i know two people who do the same amount of drugs and probably as often.
1 is in prison for stabbing his dealer after getting in debt with him, the other has a full-time job, never been in trouble with the law, funds his own habits and doesn't bare a burden on anyone..

You dont have to of experienced drugs first hand to give an opinion. Ive seen what they do to someone first hand, and that was enough.
And yeah, you can be a recreational user and not have it take over your life. But that is were the majority of addicts start, taking it occassionally as they 'arent addicted' and end up not noticing themselves becoming addicted until its too late.

There's no arguing with that fact, but I know many many many people who aren't addicts i.e. do stuff now and then, don't rely on it for a good time - well no-where near as much as alcohol
People are never gonna agree on this, if you have been involved with someone who has had a problem with drugs your mind is already made up (which is very understandable).
