I don't like cheating and I think it needs to stop, I just beleive that decision ruined the game and the ref could of played the situation better.
I bet he got tipped off from the ref from last year, Frisk I think his name was, both come from the same part of the world aswell

I love the way Barca play, Milan, Real Madrid, but the game just isn't as physical and the player seem to cheat much more.
Tell me an English player who rolls around cheating ?

i remember trever sinclaire went down a bit easy against greece and from the resulting free kick beckham scored to get into the world cup 
but other than that, i cant think of any english players with a reputation for diving

Maybe the Welsh are in partnership with Spain :eek: Might email the fa and have this investigated. Although saying that the Spanish actually have some skill when it comes to playing football, something Savage can only dream of

ive already acknowledged i dont know any 
isn't it annoying when a player like vieria goes down easy. he's a huge chap, and to go down at the slightest tug is just wrong IMO, i mean paul dickov puts up more of a fight to stay on his feet and he's only 3ft4"

referees who arward penalties for diving shouldnt be reffing.
pre season we played a team and had a really good ref. i got clear in the box and was shuved over, he barged me off the ball and i went down. he didnt give the pen
i asked him after the game why he didnt give it, he said, it was a push but the fact you were looking for the penalty i didnt like.
never tried that stunt again
but this has nothing to do with the thread

Greg I agree totally with you about the play acting in football having to stop...
BUT
You cant come on here and complain with what happened last night when Robben did exactly the same thing a few weeks back...

Ok yeah I have wound the Chelsea fans up...but its only due to the fact the Chelsea v Liverpool game as an encounter was also ruined by your man Robben...

I see exactly what your saying BUT any player raising there hand to another players face IS a red card.
Not only that Reina did a harsh tackle from behind just before that incident and also ran from his goal mouth to get Robben.
Different issues here i feel

refeering was very poor!! lots of bad decisions made, del horno, shouldnt have seen red imo, as for messi sitting up looking at ref then rolling over 4 times is a joke and needs stamped out the game but it is all the same in spain italy etc.
And drogba he basically caused the second goal as he had a grwat chance!! took an extra touch, fucked it up, barca played it down pitch on counter, which led to there goal. Was unstopable, good free kick.
Terry had a great game!! made some brilliant tackles 2 goaline clearences, made up for the og 10x over.
