It seems that way andy but a lot of us times have changed!
I needed a daily car not just a show and dry and weekend car, along with a few others!
Its the costs that crippled me, i spent 1k on brakes and coilovers when i could have paid 1k of my student loan off
all depends on the individual case
must say though the new owners dont seem to care about the cars as much as we did
FEAR and MY car for example

I'd mod my car more if I had more money. I'm a skint student running a 1.0 with a half decent sound system... Only had it 4 weeks.
My insurance company are fcukin' me in the ass as it is...
