Hes had alot to spend and alot to spend on wages!
Think of the money he has wasted!
Massimo Maccarone - 8 million
Pogatetz 2 million
Viduka 4.5 million
Yakubu - 7.5 million
He has made 2 good deals in the transfer market Zenden and boateng(yakubu startingto look good too)
If you watched Middlesbrough every week like I do you would realise he is light years away from being prepared to manager a international football team.
His tactics are terrible and he has a tendancy to play players out of poisiton.
E.g. gaizka Mendieta - 30 million pounds of centre midfielder. Steve Mclaren took 2 years to realise this and continuously played him on the right midfield.
He also plays right back at right wing, left back in centre mid, and strikers on the wing. "Tactical genius".
At the moment i don't think there is an Englishman good enough to manage the team.
The way he has Middlesbrough playing is also the most negative football i have ever seen at MFC.

In all honesty there isn't an English manager up to the job and I wouldn't think any of the so called potential candidates would have done a better job than Sven. In my opinion a top class Coach like Wenger or Hiddink would be the best route maybe even Le Guen as an outside bet.

what use is 20 million, he cant attract top class stars, but has to be seen to buy someone to improve the squad. hes done just aswell as other boro managers.
what have allardyce etc acheived? nothing, floating around mid table with the odd good spell, just like middlesbrough normally do. yes i know theyre doing poor at moment, but the players are shite, if he was incharge of gerrard, beckham, lampard etc its slightly different. TIT

Crouch is good when he plays with both Rooney and Owen, but him partnering another striker in a 2 man forward line up is a big no no.
