Didn't Riise's CL medal get sold on ebay?  It was a genuine 100% real CL medal from last season and they reckon it was Riise's. Must have meant loads to him

OMG all this talk of you won't do this or that, we are definding champions chelsea are 'the only english team with a chance' hmmm they have drawn barca and r probably gonna get knocked out ffs. I think we have as good a chance as any, but the whole 'bragging thing' is bollocks, we WON the champions league last year that gives us more right than anyone to be entitled to give ourselves a chance, together with our recent run of form obviously

Quite honestly I don't know. I certainly wouldn't rule us out. The point I am trying to make is, even if we win it next year all we will get is jibes about it being a fluke etc again. I can't stand the fact we won it and no-one gives us credit for it. If we win it this year and stay top 3 then I will laugh at anyone who STILL says we don't deserve it.

Nath - 21st they go on sale.
I think we have a chance to win it again this season. We have shown we have the ability to beat any team over two legs (Juventus, Leverkusen, Chelsea last year), and we are in much better form this year so why not?
We are fully entitled to be confident, why shouldnt we?

its impossible to guess really as you dont know who is going to get who in the next round, it could put some other top teams together as in this one.

Barcelona are THE form side in europe at the moment....
As for Liverpool...we have a good chance of going through against Benfica however they are no mugs...they knocked the mancs out with an under strength side....
All the people on here calling our Istanbul win a fluke want to get a grip...we beat several top sides on the way to the final...then beat IMO the best side in Europe last year AC Milan in the final...
To rule us out again is just jealousy...we have cruised through the groups...finishing easily above Chelsea...on our day we are as good as most teams so we do have a chance...
