coz im not an idiot or scum
No just plain dumb
Overall Tony Blair has done a good job imo
The area that I live in is being re-developed & improved & there are lots of new jobs arising due to this. Yes we have our fair share of unwanted immigrants but it is becoming a "better place". We have Labour to thank for this
Go ask your parents what the country was like last time the Conservtives were in power......
My mum and dad said they would never vote conservative again after what happened last time, imo tony blair can never give the public exactly what they want, he can only meet the demands of what the majority of the popluation want

My dad will be voting Tory as he was brought up in a countryside and his dad was a farmer etc. used to own Carr Farmers and Carr Haulage and farmeres always vote Conservative just because they get more out of them than Labour.

In all fairness as much as I can see that the BNP is just a racist party it does have some ethnic minoritys voting for it so they can't be all that bad. Also I agree with some of their policies like why should old people be kicked out of their homes after paying taxes all their lives contributing to society etc. so some foreign immigrant can move in and live off the benefits?
Obvioulsy no one party is going to do everything they say and the country will never be perfect and everyone will never agree, else why would there be so many partys to choose from.
We live in a democracy people have the right to vote for who they want. Some of you are voting Labour and having a dig at Tory supporters and vice versa. People are always going to have a difference of opinions so just go along and vote for who you want, not who others say you should vote for.
And in my eyes Michael Howard has gone severly downhill with his constant personal attacks on Labour and Tony Blair instead of actually saying what he wants to do, and he how he's going to change the country.
Sorry for the essay

Dan B, in regards to your brother needing an op on his knee and having to wait for a couple of months.
Do you really believe this would be ANY different if the Tories were in power?
If anything it would be 10 times worse.
This country is over crowded with not enough Hospitals, its something we have to deal with.
As much as the Tories go on about how they are going to build 2 million new hospitals or however many they say they are going to build, in reality they will be restricted in the same ways Labour are.
Just you people use your common sense for once.

UKIP and BNP is a wasted vote, and the fact they are brain dead morons helps as well.

What a lot of bollox.
Blair and Brown make it look like the economy is doing really well, that they're building new hospitals, investing in this, that and the other - in reality, it just isn't true.
The economy is in overdrive because interest rates are too low. People aren't earning more money under Labour - they're borrowing more money! Consumer debt is at record levels, while people pay ridiculous prices for houses and take out mortgages that they can't afford in the misguided belief that property prices will just keep rising.
It's unsustainable - they won't keep rising forever, what goes up must come down and they will come crashing down.
It's time for interest rates to go up, and I believe the NHS should be scrapped - no matter how much money goes into it, it will never get any better. It's just a big black hole and Blair and Brown are pissing away good money after bad by holding it up.
If Blair wins today, and I don't see how he won't, then it will be his last term as PM. When Brown takes over, he'll win maybe one election as PM on his 'record as a good chancellor' (lol!), but then it'll be over - he's old Labour through and through like Prescott et al and without the Champagne Socialists to paint a nice picture for the media, there won't be any support for the Labour party when our country falls into even worse decline than it's already in.
Go out and vote people, because regardless of what they tell you in the media - every vote DOES count. Even in a constituency where there is an 80% share of the vote for one candidate before today - if only 30% of the population there actually voted last time - the other 70% could swing it to the other side if they actually got up off their backsides to MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Really? Do you not pay taxes? Are you registered with a doctor or dentist? Do you live in a house? Do you have financial services products? Do you eat food?
The laws and regulations that are made by elected representatives DO affect everything in everyday life - from the amount of taxes, to rules affecting the manufacturing of foods, employment regulations, funding of local and national services, etc.
If there is something that you don't like - talk to your MP and tell them to do something about it! That's what they are supposed to be there for - to represent you!
And all these people who say they don't trust politicians and none of them want or believe in the same things are you - then it's your DEMOCRATIC DUTY to stand for election to represent yourself!

ok so all that stuff does apply, but no group can really change it, we always gonna have tax, a reduction is maybe an extra £5 a month = gay not bothered about that.
i haven't any real complaints about services, don't use dentist or doctors that regulary, can't see a government changing the way local practices operate etc.
we don't get immigrants where i live
am only unhappy about road conditions.
i can put up with whats decided, i feel no loyalty to this country or our people, maybe our generation, but we'll have our time

Last chance to get some problems sorted out.

Want cleaner hospitals? Don`t want your Nan to die of the Super bug?
Dont want some cunt on the doll to rob your car?
Dont want those immigrants taking jobs which the lazy sods on the doll could be doing and contributing to the country?
Then you know what to do!

Dont want some cunt on the doll to rob your car? labour has the lowest unemployment rates EVER, compared to the tories who hold the HIGHEST (that means more people out of work under the tories if you couldnt work it out)
Dont want those immigrants taking jobs which the lazy sods on the doll could be doing and contributing to the country? theres more jobs in Britain now then people to fill them, if people havent got a job, they dont want one
Then you know what to do!

I thought I saw something the other day which said that under Labour hospital waiting times had gone down although I do remember this wasn't the whole story as people are still waiting for scans and diagnosis rather than treatment.

I think you are forgetting freedom of speech, and that everyone is allowed an oppinion. You've said you want labour to stay in, why not just leave it? EVERYONE VOTES FOR WHO THEY WANT TO VOTE FOR, you can't change people's oppinions, however hard you are trying.
