Another thing with the earthquake, the USGS monitored the actual event and knew it was a big earthquake
You said it yourself, America knew therefore if they knew it was a big earthquake why did they not warn them.
It takes 2 seconds to dial a number, even if people could have got upstairs in there buildings it would have saved lives.
what was the time scale from the quake to the first tsunami reaching shore?
about 45 minutes to indonesia, and nearly 4 hours to cross the indian ocean.
link?

It was a political thing.
They could see the asian governments becoming too powerful and the tremor was triggered from space using defunct technology from the Star Wars program.
Now all the tourist industry has been affected, land will be available cheap, so foreign interested can literally be cemented into the rebuilding of the countries.

the force of water moved at 400mph though....plus you couldnt see much from above, even ships in the middle of the indian ocean hardly noticed anything.

Markets will slump for sure.
Nail on head, the effects of this are likely to effect the whole world, surely this is a consipiracy theory in its self, as David has show there was 4 hours!! thats a very long time from the earthquake to Tsuami hitting the countries it affected.

Market reports since the disaster have said they are coping pretty well so far, well the Asian markets have... could be wrong though

This is EXACTLY what I was trying to portray
Well done SetH
yes, conspiracy would be that these event was fabricated to reach an ultimate goal, in this case somebody wants to cause a slump in specific areas of world markets.
Regarding someone going on about all the funding money that is going over that way, this could be money that has been factored into the persons or groups agenda. Ie they are prepared to pay hundreds of millions of dollars as part of the cost to reaching their ultimate goal.
For example the illuminati are said to influence key events and to throw massive amounts of money around to pay for things to be tipped to their favour. They are said to be made up of the richest families in the world, Money is not an issue for these people when they want to make something happen.
My thoughts is that this quake may have been caused, or was not purposely caused but warning was deliberately withheld, with a goal to this event being part of a bigger plan to change/reshape the world & or civilisation.

has made britain look good (donations), and the US army looks really helpful now.
i don't believe the donation figures, i reckon they made up to make people feel guilty about not donating
they trying to look good after Iraq.

warning was deliberately withheld
It could be nothing but withheld, these countries do not have it. I defy you to get a message to 100,000 people in 4 hours even if you knew it was definately that bad and had all the technology at the disposal of a developed country. They didn't and don't.

ok heres me theory on things
with regards to the donations that people are saying should be spent in our own country. UK Government has so far pledged £50-200 million to the appeal depending on who you believe. In terms of the income that the UK generates from taxes (both personal and corporate taxes) £50-200 million is less than 0.1% and therefore I'm sure it isn't going to be missed so on this issue I'm not fussed
with regards to this conspiracy idea floating about I can see where Ojc and SetH are coming from, some countries could have been warned once we were aware of the earthquakes impact, although I'm struggling to see who will benefit from failing to warn the countries, its not as if massively powerful economies have been destroyed, yes they have been damaged but they will recover in the long term.
With regards to this population control thing i've never heard anything so ridiculous. So far 150,000 are dead (approximately) This equates to a 0.000025% of the world population

maybe so but its still a minute figure
if people honestly believe that £200 million invested in the UK will have anywhere as much impact as it will to the victims of the Tsunami then they are being very selfish

as i have said do you think that this money that is being given as aid would honestly be used to a greater effect in this country
although we like to complain about the state of things in the UK (myself included) we have it pretty good here in comparison to some other countries

do u think though throwing £200 million at the NHS would solve things, surely there are more problems inherent within the NHS i.e. shortage of surgeons, people living longer, people who do not take proper care of themselves (i.e. smoke and drink excessively, have poor diet)
