a 1.4 sport will not piss on a zetec-s. they are both as slow as each other. down to the driver and the weight etc

They are about even.

Look at manufactor figures, they are very simular.

The Zetec-S has 200cc more so will be slightly more punchy mid range.

Those guys think there Zs are speedy cars lol

http://www.zsoc.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13075

Just read the bit about one Zs running 120bhp apparently beating a VTS and a Mini Cooper S even with 3 people in his car

I don't see why everyone has to slag off other people's car. Especially when some people haven't even driven a ZS.

If you've driven one Fiesta, you've driven them all.

this thread had got me in stitches

my best m8 had a zetec s
my old STANDARD gsi killed it. and i was runnin on 17's

yeh ok there ok at going round the bends. my m8 even prefers the handling of his zs to his cossie 4x4

but his zs has been beaten by a lot of things rangeing from a 106 1.3 rallye to a saxo vtr to a 2lt corsa

good basis for a tuned engine tho.
but zetec -s is a slow car

At least the ZS you're pretty safe if it crashes.

When I'm in my mates Z-S it does seems pretty nippy, but saying that he does cane it everywhere trying to show off

They may be fairly quick and handle well, but let's not get carried away.

THERE IS NO WAY, no way at all that this car can keep up with a 172 Cup.

my mate used to have a zetec s, spent a bit of cash on the original engine, cams, headwork, chip etc. It was fair quick, think around 130bhp, then he had a racing puma engine put in, dunno what power they are-

he sold it soon after
