Little update peeps Today me and my dad took the old boot off so that we could try the new one on before I get it all resprayed. Its bloody miles off The lock wont clear the back panel so its going to need a lot of work to get it back to how it was

Anyway, old boot came off no problem

On went the new one!

Got a slight panel gap issue

That should keep me busy for a bit anyway lol. I've also been collecting a few goodies for it

Brand new GM GSI splitter
Pipercross Viper induction kit
3/4 plate for the GSI bumper
New number light lense
NGK spark plugs
Dent pulling kit

More updates coming soon hopefully

thats a bit of a gap there but glad you have made some progress, shouldnt be to hard to get it sorted

i would use this chance to go a little bufty under the arches/bumpers etc and get it all cleaned up and mint, maybe get underneath cleaned/painted also while its off the road

Yep you're 100% right there The whole underside of the car is going to be undersealed along with the inner arches, front + back panels etc. Can't do under the arches though because the skirts are bonded on bummer!

Once the engines out I can get it up on the axel stands and get it all protected and mint

with lots of persuasion Its were the back panel has been pushed back and up the lock on the new boot wont clear the back panel. Just shows how much the old boot got bent
