i would.
didn't want to mess my focus up but it is buggered now. stone chips everywhere, a scuffed alloy, scuff on front bumper, chip in the windscreen etc etc.
but then again, it's not a rare car at all
if i bought an escoss i'd use it everyday still.

I haven't used the Astra since the RR day but when I was using it for work it racked up mileage just sitting in traffic and you soon get fed up of the surroundings.
I'm itching to jump in it to drive now but with this weather I doubt it will do any more miles now until mid January
Just keep the van and fit some bling bling wheels to it.
true. if i don't drive my car for a week then get back in it, it feels so quick and i enjoy driving it.
when i'm doing the work commute, i don't enjoy sitting in traffic watching the petrol go out the rear at traffic lights. bores me to death then.

I'm sorry, i read some of the things on here and have to laugh. Its a 10yr old BMW worth not lot. Just drive it as intended by BMW when they built it. Same with the Astra Nurb, just use the bloody thing. High miles or low miles, its just a white astra vxr.

How many miles do you do a day out of interest?
If you drive something alot you get bored of it = fact
I bought my car to be something to have fun in, gets boring when you drive it 100 miles a day and limits the modifications in some cases, e.g. more power uses more fuel, not ideal for something which is being used for work

Mike some of the things you say make me laugh, 1 of 200 cars produced in europe make it a tiny bit rarer to try and replace imo

Graham is right imo, if I do replace the van when graeme offers me decent money for it will get something boring to replace it with otherwise I will just end up powdercoating everything

PS
Do it, most people drive nice cars on daily basis. Most of the new/fancy cars you see on the roads are daily drives!

Sell the van, don't buy the rare bmw. Whats the point? Seriously? You can pick up a lovely E36 now for £1500 in very good condition. Do that and spend the rest of the money on that fucking corsa. Or break it for parts and move the fuck on.

BMW's are made for miles, not keeping in dehumidified garages. Buy it, enjoy it
