People who were considering the 43k TT will probably move onto a porsche but wouldn't consider buying a nissan.

That must of had everything on the options list thrown at it!

The Golfs dont have as many options as the S3's either...
My old GTI had optional leather, xenons, 18s, cruise, built in sat nav with 6cd changer in leather armrest, heated washerjets and electric folding mirrors as well as all the std stuff like auto lights, auto wipers, auto dimming rear view mirror etc (which the S3 did not have as std) - that took the S3 to nearly £35k

bascally robbo forgot where to stop ticking

EVO reviewed it, said it was good, but not good for the money. The sound is supposed to be addictive.

Last I heard the GTR was more like £60k, I think the price has been put up to even higher though because they were making such a loss on them.

Yes, Hitlers plan for a car for the people have been put aside so they can sell this overpriced shite to the man that drinks Costa Coffee.

If volkswagen is german for 'people's car', then I wonder if there is a single german word for 'overpaid gullible people's unreliable car'?

Oliver, I know you like to go as fast as possible in your cars. But apart from a similar-ish price, there TT and GTR aren't really comparible. Some people would rather go in a bit of comfort and style than know they can knock 5 secs off their journey.

But come on, seriously you cannot honestly say this car is worth 40k? It's ridiculous.

Get a BMW 335D if you want refinement.

I duno, if I had £40k I'd try lots of things and got the one I thought best. I can't personally say its worth it, but Audi do and they still seem to put cars out there.......
