It would have to be either blue or green tho.

If i was you id get a 6 month old Corsa VXR or abarth 500 from a dealer and save loosing the vat right away. Also have you considered a mito or cooper S?
Yeah nearly new is obv a prefferable way of doing it.
Minis are riduclasly expensive and poorly made. Mito can jog on.

ive seen one in the flesh Mike, doesnt work.
I went to Fiat sat in a 500 Abarth, funking gorgeous inside, red leather, nice feel to it speedo is awesome. Can be remapped to 160bhp, if you spec all the options its only £14.8k thats list before any discounts etc so its dirt cheap.
Tempted to book a test drive

I'd have the Corsa because it's small without looking queer and because it's not that horrid new Renault Clio or that awful pseudo Fiat 500.

Theres only one kit for the 500, can be fitted within the first year or 20,000miles for £2750
quote: Tuning Kits
True to Abarth tradition, the tunings kits come in an elegant wooden case and can only be sold and installed by the official network of Abarth dealers converters, guaranteeing compliance with the highest testing and safety standards.
Esseesse Kit
The 500 Abarth Esseesse kit allows the 1.4 16v Turbo T-Jet engine to achieve a maximum power of 160 hp (120 KW) at 5750 rpm with peak torque of 230 Nm (170 lb/ft) at 3000 rpm in "Sport Mode". The result is a truly thrilling performance: top speed is 131 mph (211 km/h) with acceleration from 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in just 7.4 seconds. In line with the Abarth concept of preparation, the "esseesse" kit uses perforated and ventilated front brake discs (diameter 284mm x 22mm), perforated rear brake discs (diameter 240mm x 11mm), high-performance front brake pads, springs that are specially lowered in comparison to the original car and 7" x 17" ET35 alloy wheels, finished in white or titanium, fitted with 205/40 ZR 17 Pirelli P-zero tyres. The kit is topped off by a BMC air filter, four tyre pressure sensors, and "esseesse" badges for the engine cover and tailgate.

The 500 isn't cheap when you think what it is.
15k for a panda is a lot of money.
