It is still really quite a lot. But trust me, I couldn't get it cheaper.
But it isn't all to do with being a girl. I presume that was some time ago? Insurance was cheaper than it is today like for like 3 years ago, I'm sure of it.
Well at 21(I'm same age as you) I had v reg 2.0 astra SRi which i was paying £600 FC on, and then a brand new 1.8 vectra SRi which I was paying £450 on, now at 22 I'm paying £350 on it
