Lol PEN15 and BOL10X used to belong to a guy my Mum was dating in the 70's.
PEN15 was a white 911 and BOL10X was on a roller.
She's got some photos somewhere

Its not because C4RSA will always remind me of a white/purplish Corsa that broke all moulds when it came to corsa modifying.
And C5RSA, had an MCR kit and a 110+bhp Lexmaul powered 1.4 16v
But for the new owner, obviously his own feelings are also correct.

Don't know how as it was classed as offensive and he had to remove it from the car in the 80's. Wasn't becuase of spacing either. Wonder if its been re-classified? If I was Steve Parish, and it was up for £100k, i'd be seriously p1ssed off....
All the plates that are like that are banned I thought?

What can you buy for a car for £250 thats effective as a private reg plate?
Wheres this £105 coming from? When I removed mine from my car to my bike last year it was £80?
Depends what you mean by effective? In hindsight I thought the plate was a waste of money and I would rather have put it towards a remap/service/tyres/whatever.
My mistake on the cost, its £80 to move it car to car, or £105 to put it on retention which was the cost I was looking at after writing the other one off.....

This is mine, currently on retention;

Got it for sale but in no rush, wouldn't mind it on my car in the future when I have something nicer but not that fussed, can't help thinking they are going to proper stamp dodgy spaced etc plates out in the not too distance future. . It's on ebay for 2,500 or best offer, hoping some one with more money than sense drops on, to be honest I think it is a lot better than the other Carl related plates on offer.
Personally it was worth 500 quid for the banter from the mates. "Why does it say Girl on your number plate", "where's the Garrrrrrl gone," etc. Keep tellingthem i'm going to call my son Garrl and save it for him.

I've got G9RSA which the corsa when I got it. Thought about selling it because it dosn't really say "Corsa" but I always get good comments so as long as I've got my corsa i'll keep it.

Ive just had one bought for me for my 21st, that i dont know about
Surname is HILDER, and the plate is H11OER, with the O's been more square on a numberplate it should look like a D, cause H11DER was gone
Should look mint i think.

I think mine was overpriced. Probably down to the fact that it was a 55 plate and I bought it when the 55 reg had just come out from the DVLA web site.

Never interested me tbh, can't find a good combination cheaply anyway, i've actually seen a car with ALUN 1 or something on it and it was a Ford Galaxy at the time. Despite the fact my car is quite easy to spot, i'd imagine a private number plate would be easier to remember if someone wanted to cause you grief?

In hindsight, cars are a waste of money in general. Alloys, stereos, brakes, exhausts, all a waste of money...
But we all do/have done it Otherwise, we wouldn't be on this website
tbh, £250 isn't THAT much money. As mine was a part gift too, makes it more special.
