i only made this thread to talk about it, and how i feel that it is wrong they can take your car away from you and sell/crush it when you are 100 legit but had a phonecall complaint.
We are car enthusiasts, search for the thread Where everyone says how fast they have been, go post in there

I don't disagree that Mobby is a decent chap, but, for doing a little tiny spin infront of a member of the public leads to all this?
I find it a little hard to belive.

Putting someones life at risk, i was in a car park. they can give you a section 59 if you and your mates are parked in a car park and one of you drift for arguments sake. that fair?
One minute you lot are banging one about how the police are shit, not bothered about stolen cars etc, but you think its fine to take someones car and sell it, i can just buy another and drive like a twat( for arguments sake) so how does it stop me?
i dont know the last time i had a rant about the police being shit tbh, obviously they interpret your driving as being a bit stupid, let me guess you were 4 up with your mates in the car? its probably because they didnt want to peel all of you off a tree later that evening and with your previous history they took your car away, makes sense tbh, and try driving like a twat next year with convictions
Grow up, there was only two of us, me and my brother. You just seem a twat tbh
I didnt do anything in front of any coppers.
i seem a twat because im telling you in my opinion the mentality of the police for confiscating your car? if you do it again you will lose it? your blaming it on your car as well "Iv got a 1.8 corsa, its very hard to be a angel on the road". Davey has no problems with the police with his car which points to you behind the wheel, you really should have learnt by the recent events but yet you say "i can just buy another and drive like a twat( for arguments sake) so how does it stop me?"
good work
I didnt blame the car, im just saying its hard to take it easy when you have a fast car, i must be the only one though.
Why the fuck crush/sell my car though, i dint disapprove to anything but that
The difference is my car is a daily driver!

very hard to believe that someone would complain for just doing a wheelspin in a carpark.
when did it happen? guessing evening.. if so; wouldnt the carpark of been empty and shops if there closed?

Its really not hard at all, maybe im in the minority though?!
Id be pissed off if the police took my car and destroyed it for something so minor, but then again i just cant see it happening in my little world.

Its that simple though! Section 59 is a piss take, they dont even need 'evidence' its down to you to prove you are not guilty, its a total crock of shit!
Its the same with the new firearm laws, you can have an air pistol on your own property and if your neighbour complains the police can come and kick your door in, search your house and confiscate anything you've got that relates to firearms even if its 100% legal.
You are not allowed to cause "public alarm" or use your car in a "unsociable manner", doing a wheelspin covers both bases.

I must admit i believe mobby on this one..
I had a section 59 for being in an empty car park with two mates. If your young with any sort of modified car, the police go out of there way to try and get you off the road..
Theres a crooze that goes on up here, in a big leisure park thats still open to the public 20 or so people meet up in the corner, never seen any wheelspinning, drifting etc, yet theres always police stopping this "dangerous" activity.
Its a joke.

Have you gone back to a black spoiler?
Saw a red corsa with black roof and spoiler, semi smooth boot which seemed pretty quick last night up at 27

Out of all the various meets Ive been to and organised (some being 20-30 cars) meeting in pub car parks, etc never had any interest from police at all so you must be doing something 'anti-social' to get attention from mr plod

Hmmm, my mate got Section 59'd for 100 in a 30, so yours seems kind of irrelevant in the grand scheme of things
