Exactly, so most insurance companys say if the damage exceeds around 60% of the value of the car, then they will write it off. No way is that going to cost over 20k to repair.

Just going by what i repair at work like, but imo thats nowhere near a write off, even if suspesion is fucked etc.

You anything a bit smaller? Im thinking with his accident rate he could do with a small, slower car.

Actually no more than £30k going by Parkers.

Im just going by what the garage have told us who have seen it first hand. Pics dont show how bad it is tbh as looks a lot worse close up.

No, we bought it to take the dog around in and other dirty work so we dont fuck up the other cars. Engine is fucked on that one though.

I shall start a 'What car' thread soon and both increase my GC post % and annoy the 'You're just showing off' crew.

216 - get it right.

Dont think he'd go for a GTR35. He was looking at Maserati Gran Turismos not too long back so he may have another look at those.

Yeah, just been speaking to my Dad as he is amazed how well it stood up.

She was (probably) going a bit over the speed limit of 30 (it was a wide road and the flow is often well over 30), and she was fairly close when he stupidly pulled out so I doubt she had any time to slam on - no skid marks on the road would probably confirm this.

Side airbags went off on that side of the car, and none of the windows broke amazingly which surprised me.
