its true what rick said when my got got that dent i got a quote of how much it would cost to fix and they said £800 which would of wrote my car off. so i just got the money off the woman in the end

Nope but if insurance do it it would be the cost of a brand new bumper, cost of a new slam panel, fitting and painting etc. They would not just wang slam panel about till it looked right and thats it job done.

yea if comes ot it then the insurance probably would go for all that, but i wouldnt let them right it off if i could, my mum had bad damage to her astra estate and they wanted to write it off, but she fought it and they repaired it

well his dad wasnt having none of it, was just saying either go our own ways and fix the cars, or go throught insurance, even tho i was 99% sure it was his fault imo, i just said fuck it, ill fix my own car..... so £13.00 later (and that was just for the paint to touch up my trim) shes fixed 
had to replace the cross member (took off my old corsa in uncles field)
and re-do d.i.y depo
the bend in the slam panel was just wear the light pushed back, slam panel was 100% fine.
just wanted it back on the road to be honest

why go pvs with flakey paint? repaint it and wack another depo in if worst comes to worst DIY depo jobs a guddun oh and for bent slam pannel handbrake on tow car toe rope and pull it out slowly i had the same thing happen to me

liike i said, insurance would have taken ages to go through and if it ended up 50/50 like a few have said on here i would still have to pay for mine due to being tpft
