131 is well good. beats my previous terminal yesterday or 127, and my best at crail of 129.
managed about 5 runs at 12.3 in the damp aswell which is nice. one day, possibly, i hope it will see an 11.
i must of just left as you came.Yes thats very Good.
To get a 11 that will Cost you mega loads of £££ wont it?
Did you race the Porsche?
no didnt race it. the bloke who owns it spoke to me being a bit upset as he was in first spot all day till i turned up.
car would do an 11 at pod. im 99% certain of it. crail aint the best surface, kirkbride wasnt bad but not much grip at the set off.

Santa pod is proper drag strip!
Save your pennies, drive to civilistion and have a go down pod.
I was thinking, do you think if you ran less power you would be quicker (as in more grip from the start)

thats what were going to work on. me and johnathan the rolling road man are going to set up the boost properly in the gears, so be wastegate set at 0.6 which is its lowest for first 2 gears, then maybe 1 bar in 3rd and then 1.4 in 4th, 5th and 6th.

yeah its alright to drive. take it work and back a fair bit and most evenings i drive the corsa instead of the vectra. fuel consumption is shocking, but its a good laugh to drive.

Yeh but that was 2000007!
This year you have more power and by then you should have solid engine mounts etc which will help with grip wont it? and what tyres did you use last time? are you using 888s atm?

had r888's last time. bought them to run in it. and yeah still use them now. solid engine mounts are what im about to buy off the bay tomorrow night.
its not up to me. its up to the fella that runs the vauxhall team. i will submit a time slip or a few to him see if he says i can run.

jdm doesnt have anything to acid dip cylinder heads. although he might know somewhere or someone that can. i will find out for you as im down there on saturday for some messing about with the corsa more than likely. plus i nee to get the blowing exhaust checked over. a mate of mine used to do metal polishing. he had a far few parts acid dipped to clean them. will ask him also.
you know where david usher is in carlisle? the pug specialist, near hollywood bowl. used to be a place on that little estate that did chrome plating. they had acid baths as i remember the spill that got that part of carlisle closed down a few years ago. maybe worth seeing them? fell is called allistair that runs the place.

I was at Kirkbride with my mate in the 'Pen Island' Civic

Its his first quarter since building it and was very impressed with the results. RR'd @ JDM Dyno the week before at 396bhp and some torques too (dont know how many)
He ran a 13.17 with street tyres/fuel.
Was going for a 12 but never quite managed it. A set of R888's and some more boost and he'l probably crack it!
