I think allowable convertibles = anything with performance...
i.e.
M3 Convertible
S2000
350z
Ferrari Convertible
Z4M
etc
Not allowable ones are things like
206cc
307cc
207cc
Mx5 1.4
z3 2.0
z4 2.0
etc

when the roof is down, you hear the exhaust and engine 10x more, it feels a tad faster with your hair blowing in the wind (between appointments for haircuts obv)
But deffo not gay
Id rather be listning to my straight six howl with the freedom of open top motoring than sat in a sound proof cabin hoping people thought i was manly enough

In the uk i dont really see the point of a convertible. the only one i think that suits the uk is the XR3i convertible - i think they were built to cruise skegness promenade in lol!
But if your on about hot places like california, miami, italy etc the only car to be seen in is a convertible!

Oh and its quite funny, on a certain other vauxhall model specific forum i use, you a big fat homo pufter if you even entertain the idea of a hard top. Go figure

It doesnt have to be hot to enjoy a convertible.
I enjoy it most in the dark, Ian will back me up on this its a strange sensation but a good one
Plus i had the roof down today, was only 9/10 degrees but wasnt cold cos im not gay?

M3 convertibles are not gay, they reek of 80's pimp though and unless your a drug dealer or self confessed vein git then you cant really get away with one in the uk.
Ie driving an m3 convertible through a city centre on a busy day would get you a lot of sneers and jeers, bit it would look mint rolling up to a club on a promenade in spain, certainly no sneers or jeers then.
