You belive staistics too much. Insurance companies arent there to give us all help - they are there to make money. If they see an easy group to persecute they will do so and wring every penny they can out of us: My grandad (76) pays £164 a year fully comp on a £35,000 range rover hse and he is dangerous on the road. fully comp on a £900 corsa gsi for me (21) was £1400 and im a better driver than him. If you can tell me he is paying a high premium for fraudulent claims then you need your eyes testing.
Our premiums are high because insurance companies like to make money out of us, not because of all these statistics and bullshit they publish to try and justify discriminating young drivers with high premiums. They know we need it as a legal requirement and know they have us by the balls so we have to pay what they tell us.
To me, its just claiming back what you have been overcharged for!

Amen to that.
The woman who screwed my mum over and got £500 for her 'injures', well, her mum was involved in a crash shortly after in which she was actually hurt, interesting

Your looking at different groups of drivers which whether I agree with or not, its nothing to do with what I said!!
Fake insurance claims are passed onto the consumer, if they didnt happen then there would be savings accross the board, incouraging people to make fraudulent claims is only taking from your own pocket - thats a fact!!
