2 x wheels
2 x suspension
2 x x16xe engine
2 x bodykit (secong was really just more alteratrions to the first
5x bodyshop
then quite a bit on interior bits and pieces
powder coating random things like tie bars inlet and wiper arms
expensive alarm and solenoid system
i could build a car the same actually alot better than my old one for a fraction of the price now.
steep and expensive learning curve

£40 odd so far as i have been out of work and have not had the funds to sort the gearbox out, so the majority of my time has been spent stripping the car and resprayng the interior. But my old fiesta had £3.5k plowed into it which was quite suprising as i picked up a lot of parts used or cheap

I bought my sport a few years ago, for £1200 with full tax and mot.
Probs spent about 300 modifying it (cav rims, decat exhaust and air filter). There rest of the money was repairs (head gasket, services etc)

£3k on modifying, £2k on the car, maybe about £800ish fixing.
When I've got some money again tho the modifying figure will hopefully be flying up

I agree where Paul_J said tis sad adding it up as it does get you down knowing how worthless our motors are in comparison to what we've spent.
Saying that I've still got a comprehensive list of money spent lol..
My car inc buying owes about 2800 for everything including purchase, mods, ICE, servicing - no MOT or tax included obviously. Thats over 2 yrs, so not THAT bad I guess.

1 engine conversion
Bucket seats, retrim.
x3 different brake setups, Std, 2.0 16v with upgraded discs n pads, V6, V6 + Rear discs
Various experiments, like buying a C20LET engine just randomly as I thought i'd put it in, then didn't
Mopney comes n goes. You buy things, you sell things. 8 Years is easy to spend the money I did.
Think Donnas largest single bill from Carisma was £6k. But then it went back there 3-4 times..........
  Fair enough!
