nice one mate, i miss my old fiesta so much, was so fun to drive

with regards to the facelift half leather seats, be careful as they only came standard in some facelift zs's from 07-08 plate's.

reason being there was a supply problem with the cloth seats so ford used half leather instead at no extra cost to the customer, so make sure you get pics if buying off ebay, ukfn etc.

also, eibach springs are dark grey in colour and make the car handle so much better then standard, cheap aswell.

whether it lower's your car enough for you, only you can say, but here's mine lowered on eibachs:

leather gear gaitor and robocop gear knob are great additions for little money too as are flatblade front wipers, newest vauxhall astra rear wiper and some door sill scuff plates as the paint there is not the thickest and can chip easily.

any more questions just let us know mate, look forward to seeing it soon, sea grey is an awesome colour

I'm sure you will mate

Ben, great advice

I want it lower than that, looking into coilovers, gonna do a rough PS now to how I want it!

I want those side strips on yours Ben, are they ST sidestrips? I thought all 3 doors came with those but evidently not as mine doesn't have them. I presume they are the same fittings.

I was planning getting some facelift front headlights but I think the pre-facelift lights suit better on this colour, might do a PS of them tinted. I wanna get a LH rear light which has the reverse light, subtle touches

Lots of plans, so little money

cheers richc

and i got the colour coded stuff from contacts of my dad (pro's of having an engineer at ford as a parent) :lol

they are facelift sidestrips (thicker than pre's), although st's didn't come in sea grey so you'll have to get them painted unfortunately fittings should be exactly the same afaik, there will be 3 holes in your door if i remember rightly.

Yeah that's fine I want to get door handles/mirror caps (got facelift mirrors from my red one) and washer jets colour coded anyway. Got a mate who does spraying so that's sorted.

Makes sense they're facelift ones though

Got to put my headunit in at somepoint too.

You know I never thought of that, man with a plan

Any handles that come without it or do I have to get it smoothed before painted?

Edit: Or can I take one from a passenger door (it's de-locked) and turn it upside down?

get one, but in all seriousness, the petrol's fuel economy was dreadful for me

got an average of about 28mpg around town. had 11mpg up when down country lanes and about 40-45mpg on motorways.

Nah insurance have got my wheels. I am trying to source another set. Makes me realise how much of a steal I got mine for though, most people want about £5-600, I got mine for £300

Sorted

I have thought it was fairly good on fuel, I got 170 miles out of £20, which is exactly the same as my 1.4, and I wasn't going slow for alot of those 170 miles.

Deano, get one

Bram I think you are dreaming Can't wait to get back out on that now been 4 months since I rode it!

Cheers Wooly.
