See, I've always thought the Fabia was in the same class as the Polo and Ibiza?!

I have an Ibiza Tdi FR, I test drove the VRs and like it aswell, the only reasons I chose the Ibiza is that I prefered the look of the Ibiza which is just personal preference and the Ibiza was an insurance group lower than the VRs which saved me about £100. Great engines, I do a lot of miles and the car has never missed a beat.

I watched the Fabia vRS vs Mini Cooper on Top Gear the other day. Very similar stats BHP, 0-60 and top speed wise and the Fabia one. Good enough reason to buy one really - just as good and cheaper in essence, to run.

I've got the Ibiza FR same as Gus.
Same engine as the VRS and I love the way the Ibiza drives.
The skoda supposedly has a better build quality than the Ibiza as well so you don't get the trim rattle

I'd rather the facelift FR like yours, than a vRS I think. Or the Cupra

Cupra is group 15 insurance though Deano as opposed to group 8 for the FR
