does no-one read threads? All these ferraris for daily use, Mazza's are pretty much Rarri' running costs so im led to beleive.

M3 would fit the bill, but theres something missing from the coupe/conv. Id go for the saloon myself.

Im not sure what other cars to consider other than the new c class AMG no idea if they can be had for 35k?

M5 meant to be awesome even if a tad big.

Daimo You should of seen the CL63 AMG and the CLS AMG drifting around a marked course at Autosport.

Wont be as sharp as the Beema but not really noticeable to the usual road driver. Also thr New SL has improved dynamics too

I do like the CLS actually, would have to sort the wheels/suspension though as they look a bit grandad as standard. Also love the CL AMG but too ££

I don't have to stick to that budget really but in these uncertain times I don't really wanna blow money too hard Doesn't have to be 12-18 months either hence the 911, but would rather peace of mind of 2 years/18 month warranty to be honest.

Not keen on the saloon Jambo, have driven one but just can't get hard over the looks

Apparently the Saloon drives better than Coupe.

Also for that kind of money I would be buying a 997 911 Carerra S

Problem is, they aren't as versatile as the M3, that's why I'm swaying towards that - quick, practicle, probably cheaper to run etc

Always had a soft spot for the Conti GT though, they are in reach although older + the worry of it going wrong

Bentley is fucking lush.

I'd probably go for the E92 M3 though, gorgeous cars and won't put you in debt if it goes wrong!

Having said that mate, I needed new headlights to the tune of £3000! Just have the peace of mind of 18 months-24 months warranty, I probably wouldn't even have the car for that length of time so it won't cost me a lot in running costs. Fuel/insurance etc is a doddle.

That's quite expensive, imagine how much a Bentley would be though

If you won't have your car that length of time then it seems perfect to get that with warranty still available.

Holding a drift does not mean it goes round bends.

Never liked mercs, hate the interior, vastly worse customer support than gets let on about (BMW n Audi, even Vauxhall put them to shame).

Superb engines, amazing in fact, but if anything tooooo powerfull (hence limited torque settings).

Great motorway/distance cars, but i'd far more likey take the BMW due to many reasons. Never seen the "appeal" of a mercades.

Even the old amazing Gullwin SL300 was a pile of dogs turd, nothing much has improved

Have you driven one round any bends, then got out and tried another car of the same class and noticed the difference.
