probably have now although i only sit at 25-30mph on the run to/from work as i really can't be bothered to go faster just stick it in 6th at 30 and be done with it


That's why you get so little mpg, 4th or even third would be much better.

I feather in 5th at 30. barely need to touch the throttle, computer reads around 40mpg doing that

no, i get so little mpg because i boot it everywhere when it's dry

it's easier to put it in 6th as it won't come on boost if i even touch the throttle, whereas in 3rd or 4th it will.

Engine will be running more efficiently though in the lower gears at that speed.

i've used it twice if that this week, washed the wheels down and put it in the garage, i bike it everywhere not worth driving around when the roads are that bad

I always curse it when they grit the roads but realise at the same time if they didn't I'd probably crash my car. So as much as it fucks me off having my car totally shit up its better than having a crashed one I guess
