First One:

Driving home from college, traffic lights on a crossroad, mine were on green, car turning right in right lane, im going straight on and a vectra c pulls right across me, i hit his rear quarter spinning him 90 degrees..

turned out it was a courtesy car from my insurance company

Second and last (touch wood):

Pretty much, on my way to work driving down country lanes, corner was a bit slippy/greasy back end slipped out, went sideways, corrected it but i was already on the wrong side on the verge and that put me into the hedge.

I was a front seat passenger (Wearing a seat belt) in a R.T.A. on the A6 road towards Garstang (Catterick when that black Corsa my mate was driving collided with a staionary Z3 at the time of the crash) Crash speed est by the local plod at around 68- 71 mph.

Injuries I sustained-

*Wiplash causing* - A Mild fracture C2 level vertabrae (Broken Neck to you and I),
Right hurmerous (Clean break Midshaft- Needed pinning)
Hammouraging (sp) on the Brain,
Broke 3 ribs (my left side),
Punchured that lung/ needed draining,
Ruptured spleen,
Brusied Liver,
Heavy brusing where the seat belts compressed against my chest.
Facial scars + total loss of memory for 6 days after that night of the accident.

Coma for 5 days/ nights.

Was given 50% either way of living.

(If) I survived, At the time 25% chance of being paraliyzed from the neck down)

Critical care unit at Royal Preston Hospital for 10 days. 4 weeks in the ward. Out of work for 8 months.

---

All this happened on 28-01-2005. Still--- waiting for compo.

Owww.

Just got confirmation in writing of how much the Solicitors are looking at in the claim for damages.

it's unbelieveable how different crashes cause different injuries, the one i posted above i recieved no injury what so ever which was very lucky, yet the pug106 gti mine was near in the scrap yard had alot less damage but 3people had died in it, makes you think

Was that at me?

They were parked stationary at the side of the road minding there own business in those white houses at the side of the road (See top pic)

Next thing they come out to see me+ my mates car apparently "In pieces" 40m from where they orginally parked it with a "dented front bumper" lmao

My Toyota Starlet SR.

Rolled it on the way to work, and still made it to work (4 hours late )

I bought it as a damaged repairable, hence the red bonnet.

yea, and thats why i dont want a french car. Corsas may be slightly bigger and not quite corner as well, but when it all goes to shit...you dont die, they have some structural integrity!
