I don't actually have any experience of this situation, but you said it was you picking on things you didn't like about her and being harsh etc, so you should be doing the apologising and not waiting for her to contact you. I know I wouldn't be hanging around waiting for my gf if it was me - I'd be right in there trying to win her back/sort it out.

If you're constantly picking ridiculous things out about her then its already past it going from my past experiences. But at the end of the day everyones different so thats just an opinion based on my situations.
Just make sure that if she keeps telling you to do things and then mugging you off DO NOT keep falling for it. Because if you get back together you might aswell be chained to a lampost with your pants down.

Im gonna hazard a guess that she loves you, and she loves the attention now that she wasnt getting before. If you lay off, she will come back to you. Hard as it is I think you need to lay off for a while, if she comes back then make a go of it. If nothing happens then you know its passed.

Well I did phone her... we talked mainly about random crap, decided to talk about serious stuff tomorrow.
She said she does want to sort it out but it's not going to go back to normal for a while and a lot's gotta change, and she needs some space for a while. I said I agree but also we need to clamp down on the problem sooner than later 'cause otherwise it will just get harder and harder.
She's pretty much cancelled our NYE plans though which I was looking forward to and she made a big point about it before, and now it's not an issue 
One thing she doesn't get is that she says I've hurt her a lot more, obviously, hard to compare, but I still don't think she gets how much it's effected me.
I'm preparing for tomorrow. Really want her back, but I'm determined to not take too much shit...

Hmm... well that was an old argument anyway lol.
Basically she really wanted us to spend it together (still going clubbing though) she kept asking me what I was doing and I said I dunno yet, but probably something outta Southend 'cause it's boring. She said she couldn't afford it 'cause she's not on a lot of money atm.
Anyway, see a flyer for Pure Silk @ Talk in Southend (EZ & Heartless Crew... love it!) said oh wow I'm definitely going Talk now!
So she was like oh so you'll go for your DJ's but not for me, have to admit, I didn't play that one very well!
But we eventually arranged to meet up get pissed together (which we don't do a lot) then head off to Talk together.
Now tonight she said oh yeah probably going Basildon now... oh

Dude, I know it's difficult but stop being so clingy, she said it'll do you both well to have a few days apart yet you're still talking to her on MSN and wanting to ring her then getting all pissy cos she's spending some time with her friends - twiddle your thumbs for a couple of days, go see your mates, play some games on your PSxBox360, watch some DVD's - whatever but give yourself that space aswell as give her hers.
It's not easy - believe me I know - but you'll just push her further away otherwise.

Aye quite good advice mate tbh. I'm not pushing it as such though, I've only text her once through this whole thing. MSN and ringing she just happened to be on and in fact she spoke to me first... ringing was just doing what I was told lol.
I'm not gonna text or anything, no contact until I go there tomorrow night.

i have only just got over my ex, still think about her quite alot but fuck me i am lovingggggggggg single life. Got my own pad now and there aint a weekend free when i aint getting my balls wet so far (touch wood)
honestly spend time with the lads they will pull you though life mine did
