They are top, got to say Chris Knott sounded good too, same kind of thing, feel bad as he got me a lower quote than Brentacre but then Brentacre matched it so it was easier to stay put.

Anybody actually had a claim with them? Always the true test of an insurance company imo. Sounds good though will give them a chance come june.

Sounds good- but I would be interested to know how easy they are to deal with if you actually have a claim. All companies are easy to deal with while your giving them hundreds of pounds. I know people who have gone to smaller companies for insurance and then have had to go to court to actually get them to pay out when things went wrong.
Not saying this company is like that at all but I cant see any reviews from people who have had a claim with them anywhere.

Just because someone is nice on the phone doesn't mean there a good company. I found them useful on the phone but they still couldn't beat the quote from adrian flux & also brentacre don't offer the 15% discount like adrian flux.

brentacre killed flux on my last two policies, and thats with using the 15% off flux.
But they were awful for my mate's astra turbo.

How the hell does everyone get these great quotes from flux? They have always been hundreds away on my policy.
Ive been with Norwich Union for a while now- they are hundreds cheaper than anyone else ive tried, but I think thats mainly due to my mum having a 40 year old policy with them with no claims. Ive been with them for 5 years now with no claims and they are getting pretty good now - paid £420 fully comp on the R27 with low excess/protected no claims/ legal and curtosy car cover. I wouldnt like to work out how much money me and my mum have given them for precisely nothing though

no online quoting  hate phoning companies up as they always pester you to take out the cover even if you get a lower quote elsewhere.

Same as Fro there Ben - I told him my quote from HIC, and he was completely honest with me - told me he couldn't match it, and the quote they had given me was fantastic, which tbf, it was!
