Dont know whether to wash my car this afternoon or not  I hate seeing it dirty but it will just get filthy again straight away

Indeed it is, but I have never been pulled for it. Not saying it makes it right, but you'd only need to give it a quick wipe infront of them

I washed it about 3 weeks ago, was spotless, then drove it for about a week, then the water pump went and it sat on the drive for about 10 days, god knows how its got so mucky.
