Do they not own Comet too?
No.
Looking at a few news articles, they seem to be fine. Cutting back on some large costs and have a £300m debt facility available to them so not going to go under.
They do. The Mrs works for currys...
They don't
Currys/PC World/Dixons are the same company
Comet has never been owned by DSG

Tesco must be feeling some sort of hit with all these price cuts, they've seriously made cut backs on the DotCom department (Dont know about other departments)... No ink in our printers, not using carrier bags no more to save money, despite hundreds of complaints and people threatening to use Asda, wont upgrade our vans (Sheddy 56 plate Auto Transits), not paying us overtime no more, its work time for time off. Dont know whether its just our store budget, but its getting beyond a joke with the amount of cutbacks they are making!

To save money dumbass, if people aren't spending then why employ people in the stores.
Worst case scenario he may have to sell a Ferarri or two, not that he's short of those

My point being that he could, if he needed to, raise funds to support his business so that it doesn't go down the pan. Somehow you've missed the point

Do you even have any common sense to tell you that if his business goes down the pan then he may as well wave bye bye to his cars?

Homebase were meant to open a new store here, but it hasn't happened... not sure what's going on there.
The building was built especially, and due to open in Autumn, but it's just empty.

Its not beyond a joke this is exactly why Tesco will survive, profits for year end should be around £3bn this needs to be protected at all cost or investors and shareholders will loose confidence in the company.

Retailers are panicking in the run up to xmas madness!!!
and I must admit, it was fairly quiet considering many would have been paid this week and most will probably start their shopping
I can see a large number of retailers closing up for good come feb/march
