One on the right looks like a scaled up version of the other?

One on the right is an Tornado LE (Limited edition, 150 worldwide, homologation model to compete in WSB).
ALL carbon fibre, CF tank, panels etc. WSB spec wiring loom (quick release, all into 1 plug), top spec Brembos, revised engine, cams, top spec pistons/rods, titanium engine casing (!!!!!), Magnesium wheels, top sped Ohlins suspension etc... Serious bit of kit. Looks the same, but a very different bike. SO much lighter, it flicks about like a dream.
The one on the left is a (now) £6k Tornado, less spec suspension, not carbon fibre, heavier engine with less upgraded parts, stilll a 130bhp engine, just a high spec'd road bike. The LE is a pure race bike on the road... It also has a double bubble so the screen looks higher.
LE

LE tail unit Vs Standard Tornado (LE has Peter Goddard (Benelli WSB rider) autograph).

LE

Tornado (carbon has been added). Note the difference in the wheels? Looks the same, about £3k difference

I've got a picture on my phone of the fuel tank. You can see the carbon weaves under the paint.
Sorry, i'll try to calm down now.

Lol can see why you get all worked up mate, the way the things are put together is phenomenal. What's the spec on the LE? Price, power etc.
Don't know if this is a given (either way), but what would you rather:
Pagani zonda F or an LE Tornado?

LE, £24,500 new, i'd have to get the full spec, but you get a nice case with different toothed sprockets, plus various tools and parts to swap. Powers not massive, around 140-150bhp, it won't keep up with a 1000cc on the straights, probably just have a 600cc SS, but it'll out handle them all on tight stuff. Its a LOT more forgiving and supple than say an MV Augusta.
Zonda Have it a few years, then sell it and have a LE and Normal Tornado like the ol man Then pay off the house
You ride bikes?
*Anyone reading*
Bikes power delivery with different engines is very different, like cars (NA, Turbo, SC etc).
IL4 engines, like a large turbo'd small cc car. Not much power bottom end (like lag ) but as the revs rise it pulls like a train all the way up top end. These are the bikes that scream from the exhaust top end, most bikes use this configuation. Yamaha R1, Suzuki GSXR, Honda CBR etc
Vee-Twins - Like Turbo Diesel. Lot of instant umph, pulls hard and fast, but power dies off as the revs get high. Deffo not as good on fuel as a derv car. Sounds like war Big thumping boom boom engines, think Ducati, Suzuki TL1000, Honda VTR and Aprilia Mille's. Sound awesome with carbon cans...
Triple - Combination of above two. Not as much umph as a twin bottom revs, but more top end. But its got more umph bottom end than an IL4, but not as much power top end..... Sounds like a V6 engine believe it or not Mostly mid range roars, but starts to sound a little whiney top revs.
Essay over for today. Please join us again tomorrow for another edition offffffff, Damiens exotic bikes

Excellent stuff
On the subject of engines, I remember seeing a chopper when I was in Florida that had a supercharged V8, sounded like Thor burping! Nothing like the likes of what's being talked about but none the less impressive.
Maybe, just maybe, your dad will be kind enough to hand the bike down to you

I saw 'Qwack' and thought you were tripping
Nice condition, but was never a fan of that look of bike.
Edit: What does concourse edition mean?

It means its much tidier that when it came out the factory in 1974.
Its what he had as a poster on his wall when he was young. Kinda like a kid would have a GSXR1000 or something on the wall today, a top superbike of its day.
Its not my thing either, but its absolutly spotless, fully rebuilt.
Alex, you fall off, your get up and back on again. Only stop falling off when you've killed yourself
Nahh seriously, I had most of my accidents between 6-10 years of age, jsut gotta break through it (now the accidents are just faster and hurt lots more ).
Still wont quit though, its a bug, once you've started your hooked.

Its much easier to do where i am now aswell no real license, but decent bikes are harder to get hold of and its more dangerous, but the roads are brilliant for it, some nice long straigh highways, and then brilliant scenic coastal roads. Youd want to be a confident rider though if u come off on the wrong side its a long way down

Theres a TL1000 video on youtube chasing and completly owning a Ferrari.
I regulary visit it. Old man had the early non faired model (the mans one ) My god i've never heard a twin like it. Twin cabon Arts on it, so much torque.
I'd love a TL myself, still considering it if i can't get Nelli, but they are getting old and finding an un-thrashed one in good nick is becoming harder to find.
