The increase in duty is going to be offset with the reduction in VAT.
The tossers that are Darling and Brown would be stupid to raise fuel duty now, when they are desperatly failing to win the hearts of the nation back.
I recon that if they start on the up again, they'll be some political movement, especially when although there are millions of barrels of oil trapped in Samolia, oil is at it's lowest in 20 months.
Glad that the average person (<£150,000 earner) won't be paying back the losses made by the VAT cut, but fiver says that the duty on booze, fags and go juice won't go back down when VAT gets put back to 17.5% in 2010.
Told you so

People earning 40k pluss will be affected.....
And VAT will not be going back to 17.5, it will come back higher than that....

Pre-budget report says that the top 1% of earners in the country will be affected in 2011 - but adding a 45% tax band to everyone that earns over 150k is going to be added

Watch what happens if labour get voted back in, the public getting fucked over won't even be able to describe it And they will need to recoup the Billions of pounds worth of money they are borrowing from the B of E from somewhere. Which will mean taxes will go through the roof. Labour are just gift wrapping it all so they get voted back in then...BOOM

You can't escape it.
Look on tube for a documentary called 'wake up call' should be in 16 parts, watch them with an open mind and take from it what you will, you may believe it entirely or only believe parts but it is really is an eye opener into everything that goes on, and most things add up. Also give you something to do if you're bored
