8 years ago I was 18 too...driving my new black sport 1.6 16v with kenwood motorised flip down stereo... Had a girlfriend of 16-17 and worked in a dead end call centre on an IT helpdesk picking up 17k a year and with no aspirations to go to university or do anything with my life.
8 years later I am sitting in the smoke...working...on a lot lot more money and a whole career to sculpt.
Come to think of it...it was the crappy call centre job that made me go back to uni...as I was thinking this couldnt be it for the rest of my life!! haha...
Them days were all about holidays in Tenerife in Bobbys and Busbys...Scott Angry Anderson garage type music...
Now it's Mexico...Ibiza...Thailand...New York...

how time fly's.
i'm 8 years in February
I had a brand new corsa B 1.2 16v club, 2000 model with the 2 years free insurance as well.
those were the days
used to come on and look at the site when it had some decent content other than a forum. First saw andy's C13, i think before it had the plate, just after it came out of the shop with the inta kit, before the flip.

Pah your all noobs.
I remember the first bad boy extension and bonnet scoop.
Billing VBOA 2000 was THE best event i'd been too, and it was just a normal billing event. But damn was it fun.
In fact, i don't think anyone on here was at that event. Gaving Gibbs, Belsham, Nutty, myself, Dave, Stu smith came on the sunday, even Griffiths was there on the sunday I think.

But you also can't beat the first BW and Hemel meets.

I didn't go to shows until 2002, the first Trax. Never went to Max Power, even back then I knew it was bollocks.
Watford Cruise, summer 2001 was the ultimate of ultimate.
