Yeah, the mirrors are electric. Also, if you have the adjuster positioned to move the left mirror, when you put it in reverse, the glass tilts down so you can see the kerb

Looks exactly the same as dad's, except he had SMGII. I miss it

Ermmm, I think it was standard - I don't recall seeing it on dad's original purchase invoice thing.

The motors are prone to failing though, as dad found out with the passenger side one

Not the best quality, but

Direct link to above.

Door mirrors folder.

Silver interior - the nicest imho (notice under the heater controls the row of 7 buttons - normally, if something isn't speced, there would be a gap. But the original owner had the rear blind button put in to make it complete, but it didn't have a rear blind - was speced on the original invoice thing)

The nicest IMO are:

Carbon Black with Cinnamon leather.
Carbon Black with Imola red.
Petrol Mica with Lotus white.
Estoril with extended champagne.
Phoenix Yellow with Kiwi.
Carbon Black with LSB Blue.

Having a black car just now & infact previous one was black aswell, id prefer a colour change & Estoril blue is a fucking amazing colour!! Black/Red's a great combo though aswell deffo!!

Thinking now i'll wait til Feb to buy a car, thats when my insurance runs out & I'll have enough cash to get either a good 2003 M3, possibly 07-08 R32 Golf or.......new Focus RS(with some tick!), im dieing to see it in the flesh.

It's ok, but not the best 'cause it's mated to a manual, not auto.

Therefore when you have it in full on auto mode, it's fucking terrible.

When in full on manual, it will change down if you forget to so is full proof really. It does give a hefty jerk if you do it hard enough, but you can adjust the agression and stop it almost completely by lifting off the throttle when you change gear. It's quick and responsive enough though, not like dodgey semi-autos etc.

Dad did drive a manual at Rockingham though, and loved it loads. The drivers option is the manual, the posers/residual value driver in mind has to have SMGII.

Any more info, just u2u - there is probably loads I've missed out.

P.S. The speedo's tend to be out, as they supposedly limited to 155mph

Silver or Estoril Blue IMO

Best colours!

Black is lovely but only if kept proper clean, which isn't easy!
