I'm still figuring out the sound...
Part 1 of my vid is on the settings I should have used for them all. I think i'll need to mount it a bit out of the wind flow too. It was mounted up high at the side.
The 2nd part is the same location, with the more sensitive sound.... just a noise
The 3rd is recording from the back bumper. I think that would have been perfect on the settings of the 1st vid.
Trial and error just now

Indeed same here, I had all mine on Lo though and it seems pretty good. I got sound (but then I am directly next to the engine) from the engine but I started getting wind noise around a ton, you'll be able to hear it in the video, I'm saving it now

I'm surprised about the sound on the rear bumper, I think it's because of the exhaust note, certain revs on mine made it go funny.
Strange, Hi seemed better when it was on the passenger window, I thought it'd be Lo, I had Lo on mine today and it didn't get affected by wind really until 100 or so

Even so, both your settings were affected by wind noise more than me, I thought anyway. Also yours comes out louder I had my sound turned up to hear mine yet when yours came on it was much louder

If you wanted to attach this inside the car, how and where would you do it with the supplied brackets/supports?

Don't see what is so awful about that?
Looks cool seeing the inside of the car, but as you say it's a shame it can't see through the window, that's where a normal camera beats it.

a normal vid camera would need to be zoomed in as if it was mounted further forward.
Any camera would react in that way as its using the light in the cabin, not the light from outside.

I used Windows Movie Maker. I filmed outside a car whilst my mate was drifting it and got no wind noise or vibration noise!

keep trying different settings... also just read (for in car) that removing the weather/water proof seal will help noise (i.e make it louder on the quiet setting)
I'll try all these things out in time... Skyline is in getting work doe and it's too dark/cold
Late Jan maybe
