106.9p here. It means that I'm saving 3p per litre Which means if I spend £40 on petrol, I'm able to buy a bottle of powerade as well
My god it doesn't make much of a difference...
If you have a life.

personally my next car is goin to be a diesel, simply due to the fact that the equilvelant powered petrol engine would cost more to tax an insure...which i find strange, but then i am looking at being able to get some good mpg when driving like a grandad!

I belive that a similar performing car (you must be looking at 2.0's for my 130bhp 1.9TDi) would cost me more to run still.
MPG is less, tax is more, insruance is more and consumables cost more.
For example, a 2.0 engined Focus would do 30MPG, cost £300 to tax and £££ more to insurance than my 1.9TDi which does a contant 45-47MPG, costs £120 to tax and less to insure.

indeed, that is why im looking at gettin a 130bhp polo sport...compared to a suzuki swift 1.6 130bhp which would cost more to insure and to tax the following year...only bad thing is you can only rev to 5k

thats a five door one an its on for just under seven grand, and you could knock him down already as second hand cars arent selling...so i would say 5 months time mite be able to pick a good example up for 5k or below....thats just my personal opinion although you cant predict the market and things can change.

Not really they are only just a tad more expensive than the equivilant VRS
Lupo TDi's hold their values rediculously!

Thinking of going even cheaper maybe a Polo Tdi 100 which will leave me with a nice sum left over for something Bovarian

he was deffo trying, it was pretty level really although I did edge slightly, there was a 1.4 saxo furio involved too, the amount of smoke from me and the VRs in the saxos headlights was incredible
