i lube my bikes chain after iv washd the bike, which should protect the chain from the dirt next time i ride it, if you had an autolube system then you would be applying more lube straight on top of the dirt,

Knobblys are a death trap on the road, great for shortcuts though

I have got a ground-anchor, thats the blue thing, its bolted into the metal reinforcers in the kerb

you dont need to remove the caliper to change the pads, just remove the bolt that goes through the pads and caliper and pull them out. When you put the new pads back in you will have to push the caliper piston in otherwise they wont fit. Thats the way Ive always done my pads, saves removing the rear wheel.

ahh rite Il try that then ,

despite the bolt holding the caliper on being so tight the caliper its self is quite loose and has a bit of movement in it, is this normal when the pads are minced?
