Nowhere Eckles

She's sat in front of the dining room window covered in cobwebs, spiders, dust and moss, with a flat battery, no front bumper or lights and some bald tires.

Where is the front bumper and lights? More to the point, why? I think you should shove the engine in the 205. Put the front seat where the back ones are, sellotape the gearbox to the floor and have a blast

I'm like a farmer.

Are you boys familiar with the principle of crop rotation and leaving a field or fields fallow in order to recoup their fertility?

I like your thinking Jim. I'm doing everything I can to stop myself from taking a Personal Loan at the ridiculously cheap staff rate. Because I know for a fact I'll buy an AMG then vomit everytime I re-fuel. Then vomit some more as the fuel gauge empties with sun-rise/fall regularity.

I've got one car that took five years and 13 grand to pay for and it's now worth fuck all.

I've got another car that is three years into the five that it will take me to pay for it and that's worth fuck all as well and will stand me in 28 grand.

I buy what I like when I can dear.

NOT what is sensible or cost effective.

Bare minimum needed for the RS -

Insurance - Approx £500 at least

Tax - £205

MOT - £40

Standard gearbox build - £300

New clutch - approx £360

Rectify sticking rear brakes (possibly new callipers) £bloody hundreds

Brake fluid change (pressure bleeder) £89

Thermotec heat wrap £50

Sundries (gear oil, brake fluid CV boot, filters etc) £god knows, but a lot

Adding up already mate And that's without sunroof, rad, fans, B&M shifter kit, new boost and oil temp gauges, N2O install and cosmetic stuff etc etc etc.

Just can't do it while giving most of my wages to HSBC every month.

My sentiments exactly. Life's too bleedin short to drive a diesel and drink shit beer when you can cripple ypurself with years of debt for a tiny bit of pleasure.
