Zetec s`s arnt that quick but then again they arnt supposed to be, afterall they are just the disco model (if you like)

ST`s are what you should be looking at if your bothered about quick

both will feel fast compared to your corsa

Sts arnt quick but they are by no means slow, Id love a blue one... Lowered with a full miltek exhaust :dribble:

I can win zetec S`s in mine, It keeps up with ST`s from +15mph rolling starts, they are quick off the mark, If your bothered about racing like

I have Spax 45mm springs and ST wheels on mine and it handles like a dream considering it's a 5 door and a big car! Outhandles my mates Corsa on springs.

Comfy cars. TBH, I didn't fnid the standard suspension to be 'soft' anyway, and I didn't notice much difference when I put the springs on.

Thanks mate

Yes Ben, your wheels
I've no idea if it's what you used to clean the wheels with, or because they are basically new wheels, but they clean so easy. My old wheels I used to have to really wipe hard with a sponge to get the brake dust off, but these just wipe off!

I have a Zetec-S MK6 Facelift,
TDCI.

It pisses all over 1.4 16v corsa sports so dont know where the post on the 1st page got that from, and your talking about the petrol!

My 1.6 TDCI keeps up with the 2.0 ST's easily for about a mile, then the ST leaves with its 5mph more top end speed. Cos of all the devs torque.

They are awesome cars IMO, i have a thread on here somewhere with all my pics in it !

i wouldnt touch one of these with a barge pole, they just seem like a really 'typical' sort of car for someone who has abit of money to buy and they seem to have alsorts of electrical problems and just generally seem unreliable. The zetec s's are so slow for what they are and so is even the st!

Corsa c 1.8 sri and fezzy st's standard for standard theres nothing in it in a straight line, st owns round the twisties of course but the corsa is half the cost at least, its insurance group 9 compared with the st's 13. I looked at all sorts when i was getting a new car and corsa sri seemed the best option for me!

you say a corsa c is half the cost but it's also not new...

thats just like saying a corsa b turbo is better than an astra vxr because it's cheaper you can't compare them on price
