My student loan is accounted for already i.e. petrol and parking I'm not going to spend my ffinal year at Uni working my ass off, potentially failing, just for an XE I know they may be good, but not that good.
Good things come to those who wait I suppose.

£55/week. Generally speaking my car is 10p/mile. If I do at least 300miles/week, that's £30 if not more, then parking will be about £10 minimum/week, that leaves me with £10-ish
I will be working to get by, just not loads.

No offence to you Deano, but this is why I am NOT going to Uni.
Fuck living my life in debt like that, scraping by.
I don't understand how Phi hasnt got £50 spare to have an MOT done, I spend about half of my monthly income. £160ish on fuel for the month, £200 on spend and a bit more on essentials.

Deano, what kind of MPG do you get? Roughly how many miles from full tank to red light?

It isn't about the current state. It's about my potential after Uni and doing a job I want to get up for every day.
I'm happy going to Uni, just means I put up with what I do. Normally financial worries all pan out anyway!
If I can carry on working at SEC for 1 day a week whilst in my final year at Uni, I'll be 'living off' £100 per week, which sounds loads but it really doesn't go far

Last fill up was 49mpg, did some rather quick motorway miles Friday night coming back from Peterborough though so that took 1 mpg off
Never let it run right down, but I had done 373 miles which cost £38 to fill up.

No, not at all, far from it. But to do a job I want to do, I wanted/needed to go to Uni. Plus it's something someone can never take away from me as such. Plus I can have letters after my name

Well yeah, when I turn my ignition on but no, never 'cause I've run out of petrol. Only costs more to fill up if you let it run right down
