My problem is the cable is fucked, so I can't get a connection. Got a cable from a scrappy, and that's shit, the same problem. Got a solderless connector, that seems shit.

And a new cable is £32 from Vauxhall new

I pulled out my stereo, and part of the car loom came with the stereo, which broke the middle single, brittle copper wire. Nothing I could do really. Took my stereo in and out loads of times to re-seat it.

Just phoned up to change my insurance over to the new car and it's nearly £300 cheaper than they quoted me, also added a courtesy car for £18 a year
